Working in the yard
R. Renée Bembry
Enjoying bouncing leaves
Attached to swaying trees
Blowing in the breeze
Joyous bubbly birds
Tweet sweet melodies
Soft feline cries
Shed beneath my knees
Don’t need manmade tones
Devices with CDs
Natural sounds of nature
Is always here to please

Good!
The birds are eating the seeds
The seeds that grow the weeds
The weeds amidst the grass
Devouring lawn water fast
And
When birds eat the seeds
There will be fewer weeds
Injuring fingers and palms
Pulling roots from the soil
