Siblings Poetry – Poems about Brothers and Sisters
Writing poetry about siblings – brothers and sisters – will likely come easy to the majority since most people have at least one brother and/or one sister. At the same time, poetry about not having a sibling should fair in simplicity as well. People with siblings can play on pros and cons of their relationships and those without can write about their perspectives of being the only child in their immediate families.

My mom gave me a brother
And then gave me another
Although they are both taller
Than me
One is older
The other younger
Than me
My mom gave me a sister
Then mimicking my brothers
She then gave me another
Sister that is
Like the brothers
The sisters are taller
Than me
Like the brothers
One is older
The other younger
Than me
That puts me in the middle
Right smack in the middle
The middle of the sisters
The middle of the brothers
Oh…
I guess I am just a middle child…
You know…
The one psychiatrists always talk about…
